Kattenkwaad

An eccentric boy collects cats off the street to return them to their owners for a reward. One day he finds a poster reporting the disappearance of a beautiful girl. In his loneliness-warped perception he thinks he knows where she's staying, but during his rescue attempt he loses sight of the dangers of the real world.

Kattenkwaad was made within the NTR's Kort! programme, was the Dutch entry for the Oscar in the Best Live Action Short category, and won the top prize at the Palm Springs International ShortFest — the largest short film festival in North America.
